From the `Crawling Out From Under The Covers of Covid ' chapter of my musical life.
I realized that during the Covid-19 `lock-down', I suddenly felt more creative energy, in terms of music.
Suddenly, I was inspired to invest the time into...me and my musical journey. Having always loved playing covers, I decided the time was now to sit down and learn some of the classic songs that had been on my to-do list for far too long. A positive experience during a devastating global experience.
Each song was chosen for a reason, including a song with the most `interesting ' choice of instrument for the solo. See if you can find it. LOL! [Hint: it's after sundown]
So, with a handful of instruments and some patience, I jumped into the deep end of the pool. Being a multi-instrumentalist, I knew I had my work cut out for me. It was so much more than that. It was fun beyond belief!
Losing count of how many times I told myself "what were you thinking?!", I managed to stay focused to do the best that I could to reach the end of each of these songs. I hope that this project inspires others, in whatever `journey' they are on.
Soon, I will post my original works but for now...it's time to take a journey back in time!
Respect to: Jeff Beck, Pink Floyd, Chuck Mangione, Steely Dan (3X), Starbuck, Simply Red, The Brothers Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, EWF  and (the pièce de résistance, for me) Los Lobotomys, et al for creating the awe inspiring originals!
